Working draft of HTML5

Although not stable, the first working specification of HTML5 has been published today. Finally.

So head over to W3. You can view the HTLM5 specification at:http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/. The draft is published to get some initial feedback from the online community. I think it is a good idea to read “Differences Between HTML5 and HTML4″ first to get you up to speed: http://www.w3.org/TR/html5-diff/.

Adobe Media Player

Adobe Labs just released two new exciting beta program’s. The first is the ‘Adobe Media Player‘ which enables end users to enjoy shows whenever and wherever they want, while enabling new ways for content businesses to create, deliver, and monetize high-quality content and advertising through a customizable cross-platform player that supports both downloaded and streamed media. I must admit it looks promising, it is fast, simple and intuitive. Content is still lacking but this will soon be solved as more users start using the Media Player. 14 type foundries and designers

Every designer knows at least some good type foundries like Linotype, Dafont, Adobe and The Font Bureau. If you don’t know these foundries, shame on you. A designer wants to be original; sometimes needs to use unique fonts for their demanding clients. I have written down a small list of foundries and font designers you might not know.
