I love Apple and I love Macs. Lets be clear on that. But now, my eleven months old MacBook Pro is driving me nuts. The left fan is making a noise as if it thinks it is a blender. F#cking annoying to say the least. To be honest I am ashamed to open up my MacBook Pro. My co-workers are complaining about the noise.
I am not the only one with this problem. I did a search on Google and got 800.000 hits. Amazing. If you want to know what I am dealing with check out this video.
I am not mad about the defect, defects hapen, it’s just hardware, nobody died and all can be repaired. I hope. For two days I am trying to reach Appel Holland but had no luck what so ever. As a customer who owns 5 Apple computers (a regular customer ;-)) I am mad that I don’t recieve the support I am entitled to. Every time I call them I get the same standard message that the waiting period is 15 minutes (a 10 cents per minut call). No way I believe that. It can’t be true that every time I call during the day the waiting period is 15 minutes.
Apple I paid over 2000 euros for my MacBook Pro so I want demand service?
On the Dutch support page I can’t find a contact e-mail for tech-support what so ever. I just wanted to sent them an e-mail on how and why I want to sent my MacBook Pro in but couldn’t find any e-mail address or e-mail form. I am a bit disappointed how Apple (Holland) is treating its customers. It’s not consumer friendly to make a paying customer search for hours for a contact possibility. Every company who sells services should have a support page with a big Contact button.
My believe took a serious blow. As I am writing this Apple still doesn’t know my MacBook Pro is on the verge of dying. My MacBook pro is paid in full so why does Apple let me work for it to get it repaired. Thanks Apple.
To be continued…
