What’s up…

“What’s up? Hope you’re all doing fine.” I am so sorry, I have been a lazy blogger. I have been so busy lately, working on several projects at once (Just released Rijnja Repro, iKi Beer and Living Doc.) with a tight deadline. And on a personal level I have become a dad for the second time. (On the 30th of April, my daughter Lola Jente was born. Although I am a very happy parent she is consuming a lot of my free time.) I am working on a (my)new startup. Bought a new house and a lot has to be done before we can move in (we totally underestimated the work involved). All time consuming and happy worries.

So, what’s up. We’ll I have just ended up writing down a to-do list for Ploink!Brothers in Things. Although not a high priority this is what I have written down:

  • Upgrade to Wordpress 2.5;
  • Implement new design (Yes is finished): as you may have noticed I already have turned of sFir… page load was to slow;
  • Update portfolio;
  • Translate some posts to English;
  • Update link section;
  • Implement Twitter update;
  • … and a lot of testing and tweaking.

Because I don’t have a lot of time to do some writing I have become active on twitter (and maybe thats also a reason I don’t blog as much as I used to). So if you want to follow me, here is the link to my Twitter account: http://twitter.com/zoz.

Working draft of HTML5

No Comments
Although not stable, the first working specification of HTML5 has been published today. Finally.

So head over to W3. You can view the HTLM5 specification at:http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/. The draft is published to get some initial feedback from the online community. I think it is a good idea to read “Differences Between HTML5 and HTML4″ first to get you up to speed: http://www.w3.org/TR/html5-diff/.

The Macheist (2) bundle is live, and believe me it is sweet!. 11 great Mac applications (maybe more) for $ 49,- When you buy this bundle 25% will go to charity.

Macheist bundle is back

Last year’s bundle caused a frenzy in the Mac community, selling over 16,000 copies in a week. This year, they’re setting their sights a little higher, with a larger bundle, a two week sale, and with a stronger collection of apps.

Simply put, this is the best Mac software deal in history.
Last year, the Macheist members were offered a choice of charities to have 25% of their purchase donated to. This initiative became a spectacular success, with $200,000 raised by the end of the event. This year, Macheist is hoping to shatter last year’s record numbers, and show how generous the Mac community can be is.

Visit Macheist and treat yourself with the best Mac software deal in history.
